Health information disclaimer
JhiOn provides information and tools to help you manage your health span. It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not replace a qualified clinician.
This disclaimer applies to JhiOn, Ayion’s Longevity & Health Span Management platform, and to everything it shows you: plans, protocols, prompts, summaries, charts, reminders and anything an agent prepares on your behalf.
Read it before you act on anything JhiOn tells you.
The short version
JhiOn provides information and tools to help you manage your health. It is not medical advice, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and does not replace a qualified clinician. Consult a professional before changing medication, diet or exercise.
What JhiOn is
JhiOn is designed to help you manage your health span: the years you live in good health, not only the years you live. It brings your measurements, habits and goals into one place, helps you build a plan, prepares the routine work of following that plan, and keeps a record of what was done and why.
Where agents act inside JhiOn, they act inside limits you set, and every consequential action is recorded. Where a decision needs a person, JhiOn is built to stop and ask rather than proceed.
What JhiOn is not
JhiOn does not practise medicine. Specifically:
- It is not medical advice. Nothing it shows you is a professional opinion about your situation, and it is not a substitute for one.
- It does not diagnose. A measurement outside a reference range, a flagged trend or a suggested area to look at is information, not a diagnosis.
- It does not treat. A protocol, a plan or a reminder is a tool for organising what you and your clinician have decided, not a prescription.
- It does not replace your clinician. It is designed to support the relationship you have with a professional, not to stand in for it.
- It does not promise outcomes. Nothing here is a guarantee about your health, your health span or your lifespan, and any figure it shows you is a measurement or a target you set, not a prediction we stand behind.
Before you change anything
Talk to a qualified professional before you start, stop or change any medication, supplement, diet, fasting pattern, exercise programme or medical treatment, including any change JhiOn prepares or suggests.
This matters most if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have a diagnosed condition, if you take prescribed medication, if you are under 18, or if you are recovering from illness, surgery or injury. In those situations, treat everything in JhiOn as something to discuss rather than something to act on.
In an emergency
JhiOn is not for emergencies and is not monitored. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number or go to an emergency department now. Do not use JhiOn, do not wait for a reply, and do not rely on a reminder or an alert to reach anyone.
Where the information comes from
JhiOn draws on your own data, on the goals and limits you set, and on general health and longevity information. Some of what you see is prepared by AI agents.
Automated systems can be wrong. They can misread a value, miss context that matters, or produce something that reads confidently and is not right for you. JhiOn is built so that the record of what was prepared, approved and done is kept and can be checked, which is a control over what happened. It is not a guarantee that what was prepared was correct.
Where information is general rather than specific to you, it may not reflect the most recent research, and it will not reflect facts about you that JhiOn was never given.
Your clinician’s role
Where a clinician is involved in your use of JhiOn, they exercise their own professional judgement. JhiOn supports their work by organising information, preparing routine steps and recording what happened. It does not direct their care, and Ayion is not responsible for their decisions.
Nothing in JhiOn creates a clinician relationship between you and Ayion. We are not your doctor.
Your data
Health data in JhiOn is handled under our privacy notice and, where we process it for an organisation, under our data processing addendum. Where the law that applies to you gives health data extra protection — India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, or HIPAA where it applies — those protections apply on top of this disclaimer and are not limited by it.
Regulatory status
JhiOn is not offered as a medical device, and we make no claim that it has been approved, cleared or registered as one by any regulator. It is not intended for the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment or prevention of disease.
If that changes for a particular feature or a particular market, this page will say so before the feature is available there.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Ayion is not liable for decisions you make by relying on information in JhiOn. Nothing in this disclaimer limits any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Your use of JhiOn is also covered by our terms of use.
